From The LNR Book of Knowledge
This page has all the important information about the LNR Fleet in STO. While there are many different threads talking about different areas, this is the information source that is considered the most official and full information about LNRs chapter in STO. Links are being added to different discussion points.
Charter
Our charter is our code of conduct and everyone is expected to not only follow it, but help enforce it as well. It only has 5 simple rules.
The latest version can be found here: Charter
How to Join
Do you want to join Legend of a New Republic <LNR>?
All of our Chapters have an Open Door Policy. No silly questions, nominations, or other useless ways of trying to determine who is a quality member. We have a quality Guild and expect our members to act accordingly. Our Mission sets the tone and our Charter set the rules for everyone to follow and help enforce. People who don't measure up usually leave on their own.
If you are interested in joining Legend of a New Republic [LNR], please read the charter and send an in-game email or tell to any of our Bronze Rank Members or Officers.
Feel free to post a new thread here in the welcome section and ask any questions you like about the guild before joining!! You can do so without registering!
Please take a minute to view the Charter. It is enforced at all times!
There is a thread where you can post your name@name to get an invite here.
Getting your first promotion
1. Register on the website
First you need to register on the site. You only need one account - even if you have multiple characters on the server. Please use the name of the character you use most. Once you have filled out the registration form, you will receive an email with a link. This link confirms you provided a real email address and gives you "Registered Guest" access.
2. Add your Character(s) on the roster
Once you have registered, you can add all of your characters on the roster for our official games. Just use the game menu at the top of the page to find it.
3. Join the group
Submit a request to join the chapter group(s) that you belong to. This will give you access to the general private LNR forums as well as the private area only available to members who play that particular game.
4. Read, follow, and help enforce the charter
Members aren't only expected to follow the charter, but help enforce it as well. You can read it [here].
5. Request your promotion to BRONZE RANK!
Submit a request to join the Bronze Rank. Once a recruiting officer has had an opportunity to review you have completed all the above, you will have earned your first promotion!!
Bank
Bronze rank and higher can withdraw up to 3 items per day. If you need more, chat with an officer to help you get what you need. The limit is only intended to stop people from joining and emptying out the fleet bank.

Recruiting
Everyone can recruit and everyone is encouraged to recruit new members and have the ability to invite recruits to join. The Recruitment Medal is now available! Recruit 3 new members within a month to LNR to earn it. It will show in your profile on our website. To see and request to receive the award go here.
Officer Information
For full information about officers, how to become one, and more please view this page (New_Member_Guide#Become_an_Officer).
Current Status
As our STO Chapter is new, anyone can be a Potential Officer by simply requesting to be one via the website. We will continue this way for a few weeks until after official launch. This gives everyone an opportunity to help lead if they wish and prove themselves as a leader. Once we are ready to officially promote our leadership team, we will open up voting and hold elections (see the member handbook for more information about officer elections). Before you jump in and request to be an officer, please do know that there are certain expectations of an officer. Please read about them in the member guide on our website before applying to be an officer. When you sign up, you will be given the title "Potential Officer".
Discussion thread
Potential (Acting) Officers
Potential Officers cannot speak on behalf of the guild leadership. Potential Officers are in a position to prove themselves to become Leaders. They are not Guild officers.
Directing Officers
Directing Officers are officers who support a specific Co-Leader in one focus area (lead events, run the bank, focus on recruiting, etc). All Directing officers are selected by the Co-Leaders. They can also process promotions
Co-Leaders
Until we have elections, we will have LNR officers who have been in the past officers in other LNR Chapters serve as Co-Leaders in STO. These are people who have been part of our first chapter in SWG, and know how things are done in LNR. These are officers who can speak on behalf of the entire officer team. Only Co-Leaders can promote and demote members.
The Co-Leaders will have focus areas: They are:
- Events
- Recruiting
- Resources
STO Chapter will be run by three Co-Leaders, each with their own roles and responsibilities. At this time, there is a program with any member wishing to be an acting Director of Recruiting can join the team. This team is charged with spreading information about our STO Chapter and helping welcome new members to the Chapter. No other Officer positions are open at this time.
