All about Legend of a New Republic [LNR]

LNR was founded October 2003 in SWG. It has since expanded to other games and evolved over time to what it is today.

Founding Principles

Our eight founding principles are honesty, honor, respect, family & community, organization, teamwork, guild first and fun.

Officer Team

Each game that we officially support has its own Chapter led by an officer team who actively plays the game. The Chapter Co-Leaders each have their own areas of responsibility (their department) and have approximately three Directors reporting to them to accomplish the goals of the department. For example, in SWG, There is a Co-Leader of Events who has three Directors who help plan and execute those events.

There is also an Executive Council that the Co-Leaders report to support the guild as a whole and to ensure that each Legend Chapter has the same culture and principles.

What is this Wiki for?

The Goal is to:

• Place information usually contained in forum stickies here
  • Mission
  • Charters
  • Guest Information
  • Member Handbook
• Have a single repository of game information and hints instead of 100 stickied posts scattered all over
• Whatever else we can think of...!

This tool will allow us to all edit the data and add as necessary (instead of just the original poster).

Notes

• Please do not make sweeping significant organizational or category changes without discussion first.
• If you want to mess around, try editing our sandbox.
• Only registered users will be able to edit pages, but for now 'all pages are visible to everyone'
• If you have never used/edited a wiki before, check out this link Wiki Help.
• Please feel free to edit any pages (they can easily be reverted). You can't break it.
• To add a new page
  • Edit the page that would link to the new page (all pages should be linked)
  • Add the url to the page you want to create. For example, to create a new quest page for LOTRO, just enter

    [[Kill Ramen]]

    on the LOTRO_Quests page
  • Save the page
  • Click on the link you created and your new page will load in edit mode (no content yet).
  • That's it!

Where to start helping

• If you aren't sure where to contribute, try starting one of the Special:Wantedpages
• Improve upon any pages that are existing
• Create a new page!
