I just had someone else ask me about the dreaded ...invalid security certificate popup in Firefox.

While Firefox is my browser of choice, this is a pain. All it gives you is an "OK" box and that's it. No instruction how to proceed. Here is how you get around that problem. Make sure you only use this for sites you trust.

copy the url you want

click on tools

click on options

click on advanced at the top

click on the view certificates button

click on servers tab

click on the add exception button

paste (control-v or right click) the url

click on the get certificate button

---read the message---

If you still want to add it, click on the confirm security exception button

click on the OK button

click on the OK button

try the page again and it should load normally...

have fun

Maybe if I get bored I'll post some tips or something. When the dust settles, I'll post why I had to move.
